The Gaia farm (2.7 acres/1.1 ha) is home to eight thermal springs at 1,800 m above sea level on the outskirts of the Costa Rican capital. The springs are the only tectonic saline springs in the San José metropolitan area. As the main tourist attraction in the area, the project is welcomed by the municipality and the district.

• High-potential markets for the elderly, “the cocoon effect”, Tourism, Wellness and Spa, dietetic restaurant with certified organic food, treatments, alternative lifestyle workshops, nutrition, permaculture and incentive markets.
• On the southern land more buildings can be developed and potentially sold
• An amphitheater with space for outdoor events.
• Three common buildings such as reception, multifunctional building and yoga center
• Renovation of pools for thermal waters.

MEDICINAL FACULTIES OF THE SALINE WATERS
• They contain, among other things, high proportions of salt and iron that are extremely beneficial for human health.
• Clay mined at the site has many different applications for cosmetics and medicine.
• Studies on geothermal springs in Costa Rica have shown high medicinal effects from the rare saline waters.
