History
Santa Catalina was discovered in the 1970's. It was well kept secret for many years until in 1980 Surfing Magazine came along and brought in famous California photographer Steve Bissell to do an article on the legendary secret surf spot.
Then in 1990 Tom Curren and 10 of the world's best surfers came along to do a series of documentaries and magazine articles. As they say, the rest is history.
