THE TOTAL OF THE FARMS ARE 378 HECTARES + 5,225 SQUARE METERS

Physical Description: irregularly shaped land dedicated to the planting of oil palm and the breeding and fattening of cattle. The farm has an area cultivated in African palms of the Deli x Ghana variety for oil extraction of approximately 30 hectares and the rest in pastures divided for the feeding and maintenance of cattle, also an area of 5 to 10% of the total farms in primary forests and stubble. On these farms there is a corral for handling and treating the cattle, two wooden houses for the collaborators and their families, they do not have electricity or communal drinking water, the water for the cattle comes from the two main sources, the San Bartolo and Chiquito rivers, apart from the numerous springs and streams which the cattle have access to all year round.
Its topography presents areas

Location: the group of farms that form three globes of land, one close to the other, but in the same sector, located in the place called Río Chiquito, in the district of Puerto Armuelles, in the town of San Bartolo.
Access is by any type of vehicle until reaching the town of San Bartolo, then continue for 8 kilometers preferably in 4x4 vehicles where the road is made of dirt and stone until reaching the main entrance of the farms, this journey lasts approximately 30 minutes, the road in general is in good condition, firm and compact, on the way to the farm you can see livestock activities and African palm crops, the latter with greater exploitation in the area since the soil, climate and topographic conditions lend themselves to its good production, apart from the fact that the companies that process this fruit are located in this region.
Its topography presents preferably flat areas where the African palm crops are and others with undulations and slopes of 25% and 30%. Its soils are of the sandy clay loam type, loose and very fertile. In certain areas it has more clayey and more compact soils.
The San Bartolo River and the Chiquito River run through a large part of the farms. These rivers, other streams and springs flow through the farm and form the natural waters within it, protected by the vegetation and existing trees.
The farm has about 30 hectares planted with African palm trees of the Deli x Ghana variety, which are harvested every 8 days between seven and eight years of age, in production, and this harvested fruit is sold locally to EBASA (Extractora Del Barú S.A.).
The rest of the land is pastures, approximately 350 hectares, which are divided into barbed wire fences with wooden stakes and live stakes, and support the breeding and fattening of beef cattle.
An internal road runs through the area where the African palm is found for the transport
of the harvest and crop inputs.

Livestock: Among the breeds currently on the farm we have Brahman, Brangus, Senepol, Simbra and crosses between these breeds. Their diet is based on green fodder found in stables with improved grass and frequent mineral supplementation for their normal development and growth.
The entire herd of cattle is generally in very good health and body condition for their growth stage. Currently, great care is taken from newborns against the screwworm fly and other diseases, for which reason there are medications for their treatment.
