The property is located in the narrowest part of the most diverse location of the Earth, essential for the passage of wildlife between the National Parks Corcovado and Piedras Blancas, and the Wetlands of Sierpe, which constitute the largest mangrove system in Costa Rica and the third largest in Central America.
